Non-UK applicants must submit a Dean's Statement, which will include the applicant's academic ranking, along with their eligibility information. More information, including the form for the FP 2012 application round, can be found on the UK Foundation Programme Office <a href="http://www.foundationprogramme.nhs.uk/pages/medical-students/how-to-apply/FP2012EligibilityInformation">website</a>. </div> <div> </div> <div>Will Riddington, Improving Selection to the Foundation Programme<br></div> <div> <hr> </div> <div><b>From: </b><br><b>Posted: </b>Tuesday, January 24, 2012 9:35 AM<br><b>Subject: </b>Epm guidelines for schools about<br><br></div> <div class=ExternalClassF1C7AA2FF4A04E3EA7908C4EBBC23717> <div>hi,being an international medical graduate I am a bit concerned about how medical schools abroad are going to know about the decile system as the decile system is going to be more complicated. Are you going to liase with medical schools abroad and provide them with any guidelines or atleast the applicants as their assessment methods may differ from uk medical schools.for example practicals internal assessments etc.Can you shed some light on this as im concerned certain assessment methods may be missed and certain aspects may be missed.I feel that the quarltile ranking was much simpler and this may have some impact on how international medical graduates are selected as its already complicated to get a dean statment completed specially after a gap of 5 years as i graduated in 2007.secondly what if the assessments methods in the same medical school are different for different years as assessments vary from year to year?thanks</div> <div> </div></div></div></div>
